Philips Cinema 21:9 LCD TV is the world’s first LCD TV with the 56 inch ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio screen which gives you cinema like viewing experience right in your living room. Philips refers to it as ‘a genuine Cinematic Viewing Experience’. Regular TVs wont allow you to view movies the way they were meant to be viewed because they have to resize it to fit in with the aspect ratio which results in those black bars on top and bottom of your screen but with 21:9 aspect rartio, you will get the experience you would get in a cinema. Philips hasn’t released the pricing for it but it should be available in spring of 2009. So start saving and get get this badboy when its released.
