Acer working on MID (Mobile Internet Device)

A recent patent application by Acer reveals that it might enter the MID market (Mobile Internet Device). The MID market is not as crowded as the notebook market so that might contribute to this. The picture illustration from the patent shows what looks like a MID and reveals that there is a sliding keyboard, an audio jack and some USB ports. Not much is known about this as of now but we’ll keep our eyes on this.
