Microsoft to Launch App Store
Microsoft recently named a list of developers who are working on new apps for the Windows Mobile App store, a store designed to rival the iPhone’s apps and the Android Marketplace. The list includes new and free apps for Facebook and MySpace, two popular social networking sites, and more. There are currently over 20,000 apps for Windows Mobile floating around the internet, so it only makes sense to create some sort of central place for them all. Microsoft has stated that developers will not have to pay any extra fees for updating their apps. In addition to the two social sites, other developers who have signed on include Netflix, Namco, Gameloft, EA Mobile, and CNBC.
