Vista’s Life after Windows 7
What plans does Microsoft have for their Vista operating system after Windows 7 goes life? Well, the company hasn’t made any sort of announcement yet. In the past, Microsoft has phased out their older operating system during a transition phase. However, with all the issues Vista has had, Microsoft may simply stop selling it as soon as Windows 7 launches. In an interesting move, Microsoft does plan on continuing to sell Windows XP on netbooks up for a year after Windows 7 launches. While the company hasn’t made an official statement concerning Vista, they have said they will continue to support the operating system through April 2012.
