Wash Your Keyboards?
Rumors have been going around for several years that you can actually wash a dirty, nasty keyboard in your dishwasher! Well, several people have tried it and have reported that yes, this rumor actually has some truth to it. Now, you may not want to put your expensive wireless keyboard in the dishwasher, but if you have an old, cheap keyboard you want to clean, give it a try. Put the keyboard keys-up on the top rack of your dishwasher. Add a little soap—not the full amount! Set the dishwasher on the delicate or eco setting and start it. Stop the dishwasher before the heated dry cycle starts. Otherwise, you may have a melted keyboard! Let it air dry for three or four days, then give it a shot. If it doesn’t work, let it dry a few more days and give it a shot.
